I used to come to Nicks as a kid back in the 80's and as a young man in the 90's. I have many great memories with my mom here, so I couldn't come to South Florida without stopping by in her memory. Was slightly disappointed that they don't have my mother's favorite (fried green pepper rings) anymore, but their "new" menu didn't disappoint. Fantastic NY Strip!

Had a great night at the boardwalk in Hollywood with our service dog Liberty. We are at Nicks outside but the server brought a special bowl with water for our pup. I had chicken fingers and their clam chowder which may have possibly been the best clam chowder I ever had

1-17-26: 9pm Very late dinner after the Broncos and the Bills went into OT during playoffs - and it was late cuz there was nowhere to go that wasn't packed until then, poor planning for us. Lol We had the Philly Cheese Steak and a Turkey Chipotle Wrap with fries, both were good. The atmosphere was fun, the server was friendly, and at Nick's the prices were the first reasonable ones we'd seen all vacation!

We came to Hollywood for a staycation. My wife and I expected Nick’s to be better with the reviews we read. We had the smoked fish dip; it was good, but pretty creamy. I had the turkey BLT wrap and it was packed with the most turkey I’ve ever had in a wrap, but only one piece of bacon broken up. It was very good and would order again. Pics are of half of it. My wife had 1/2 dozen peel n eat shrimp. She wanted hot shrimp with butter. They came out swimming in the butter. She dropped one and butter splattered all over her shirt. We suggest to not have so much butter when serving, it was very very messy. But she said they had good flavor with the old bay. We each had a rum runner and they were good as well. Our server Elvis was ok. He did spend a lot of time talking with other servers and texting on his phone. We would have purchased another drink, but decided against and walked down the boardwalk for a drink there. I would go back and hopefully get better service and try one of the burgers on the menu.

I come down here to visit Hollywood beach 3-4 times per year for about 5 years now. I would look forward to the peel and eat shrimp that’s cooked in the butter and old bay. I loved it so much I’d usually get a pound of it every night of my visit for myself and my boyfriend. I got it today, it was disgusting and inedible. They switched from decent quality, large shrimp that wasn’t peeled or deveined to a cheap, partially peeled, salty, much smaller shrimp yet charge the same price for it. I couldn’t even finish it. It was rubbery, gross, super salty, and just tasted weird. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on what they’re serving now. I was just here a few months ago in November and they weren’t serving this garbage. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning. I know margins are thin, but this is beyond what’s acceptable for a place that charges $16 a drink for bottom shelf liquor. You could at least keep your food quality to where it should be instead of cutting corners you don’t need to cut. Greed ruins so much.
